But What should I wear?!?

But back to choosing YOUR OWN outfits…

A great guide to choosing your outfits would be this:
1.) Choose something you are comfortable and feel great in
2.) Choose something that makes you feel SEXY
3.) Choose something unique and a little different from the norm for you

As always, body suits and bra-and-panty sets are the best, but feel free to experiment with other looks - jewelry, shoes, robes, or anything else you can think of! The options are endless!

Boudoir sessions aren't something you just jump into! There is some homework you need to do before your session. We wouldn't have it any other way.

First, you need to find the PERFECT outfit to show off your silhouette! Sessions include two to four outfit changes, but feel free to bring anything you'd like. I can help you decide if you aren't sure. We'll make you look amazing!

Here are a few more helpful hints that can make the outfit choose process a little easier!

A1. Plan on shooting with about 3 outfits, however, if you aren’t sure what you want to wear, definitely bring more! We’ll chat before your session (during hair and makeup!) and narrow down your looks to what will work best for your session. Be sure to toss black or nude heels as well as any jewelry/accessories you may want!

2. If you prefer NOT to show your stomach, BODYSUITS ARE THE BEST. They are flattering to ALL body types, so even if you love your stomach, we suggest at least one of these! For those who DO want to show off your tummy or abs, a cropped or cut off tank top does the trick nicely. Tighter is usually better in this case.

3. A matching bra and underwear set is classic and perfect for boudoir. Make sure you bring AT LEAST one bra and panty set. But please make sure they actually match! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. If you have pieces that don’t go together, now might be a great time to go shopping! Fancy sets are preferable... If you feel like it’s too much to wear to work, it’s probably perfect for your session! Be sure to choose a color that compliments your skin tone.

4. To accentuate your assets, shapewear can come in handy. You can even wear it without anything else! Heels can also do the trick, and are a great accessory. Garter belts and stockings are also as nice touch as well.

5. Silk robes or cardigan sweaters are great for a sexy, romantic look, however we’ll use these more as props. Too much loose and flowing things aren’t ideal. Similarly, men’s shirts or jerseys can be sexy but we usually suggest not going with these. Baggy is not always easy to work with and often doesn’t flatter. If you are hoping to represent your team, or even his, it’s great to find a jersey in your size, if possible. If you only have his, we can use it for a few shots as we prop.

6. Less is more... just a sheet to cover up with is sometimes the perfect look, if you are up for it. We also suggest lace, sheer fabrics and accessories on their own if you are up for something a little more revealing.

7. We suggest you avoid corsets (they are very hard to move in during your shoot - we want you to arch that back!) or baby doll type nightgowns (they tend to appear very maternity-like). Also avoid hot/neon colors to prefer color casts on your skin as well as busy patterns that take away from the focus of the session.... YOU!
